New trends have not been able to negate the timelessness of the ancient art of carpet weaving. But, it is facing a stressful time and carpet weaving communities of India are on the decline. We at Luxurify, have vowed to fan this flame and provide a fair platform to the weavers with stable livelihood and fair wages. We are fully committed to give our consumers not just carpets or rugs, but create beautiful immersive experiences for them and fill their spaces with colours of joy.
Luxurify takes huge dollops of pride in their weavers, who are blessed with an extraordinary creative bent of mind, undiluted dedication and a rock-solid work ethic in weaving loom. They lead simple lives in the cradle of nature with a strong sense of belonging to their community.
Carpet weaving has been not only an age-old source of sustainable livelihood but decorates their life with dignity and recognition. They have kept the art of weaving alive with their sweat and blood.
Luxurify works with close to 10,000 weavers and their families which play a key role in completion of their masterpieces of handloom weaving. Our workforce resides in innumerable small villages in 5 states of India, with a singular vision of making your living spaces more beautiful.
A visit to the weaver’s village shone light on the fact that many of our weavers are women and weaving carpets and rugs has helped them in being financially independent and enabled them to take charge of their lives. This is a bright star in our narrative and we are proud to give them a platform to rise and shine.
BIMLA KUMARI
OUR OLDEST LOOM WEAVER
Bimla’s story will make your eyes moist. She was a child bride and came to Uttar Pradesh four decades ago. She had three children and led a happy and simple life. Her life fell into jeopardy when her husband died in an accident leaving her with no means to provide for her family. Her old love for weaving loom was her only hope. She joined us and lent her expertise in hand loom and became the sole earning member of her family. She did not victimise herself and put in her best efforts day after day with grit and determination.
She has successfully managed to educate all her children and secure a better future from them. She still continues to work with unmatched energy and is a source of inspiration to all.

OUR STAR PERFORMER
Ram Swaroop is famous amongst all weavers as the one with the Midas touch. He breathes life into humble handloom yarns and transforms them into magnificent pieces of beauty. He is not any run of the mill loom weaver but an artist. To witness him working on the carpet weaving loom can hypnotise you and his effortless method of carpet weaving appears magical to the bystanders eye.
He is often surrounded by young carpet weavers who look up to him for guidance and he gladly reciprocates their admiration with nonchalant demeanour.
KAMLA
OUR ONE WOMAN ARMY
Tired, mediocre and uninspiring are three words definitely not in Kamla’s dictionary. She unassumingly disarms you with her sun like energy, an eye for fine craftsmanship, and an aura to be a driving force for everyone around her. She is often seen multitasking- tirelessly hand weaving carpets like a worker bee while singing inspirational songs and scolding her entourage if they are seen lazing around.
She is the one who takes charge in trying situations and makes sure to lead her fellow carpet weavers into a conducive and productive environment.
